What is a Sliding Gate Operator? What is it for?

Optima sliding gate motor have 4 different models which vary in accordance with the weight of the gate it’s mounted on. The gate motor can operate gates weighing up to 1200 kilograms.
Optima sliding gate motor operates with 24 Volt DC motor. The worm gear revolves with the power sourcing from the motor of the gate operator and transfers the movement to the drive gear. Connected to the drive gear with shaft, pinion gear transfers the movement to the rack located on the gate, resulting in the movement of the gate. With the switch sensor on the sliding gate operator mechanism it is possible to adjust the opening/ closing gap of the gate. In order to obtain a softer movement, Optima control card is used in the gate motor mechanism. The closing time period of the gate motor is adjustable in between 5-35 seconds, according to users’ preferences. In case of power cut- off, the key release sub- mechanism will enable the user to move the gate manually. With the help of this key feature, the user will still be able to operate the gate safely in case of harsh conditions. The lower body of the gate motor consists of aluminum injection and the upper cover is plastic injection. The sliding gate motor can operate normally between -15 and +65 degrees celsius, which showcases the durable structure of the product.
