Having started its manufacturing operations to provide security sector with high-quality products and services with the state-of-the-art and modern engineering applications in December 2000 at Ostim Ankara, OPTIMA Engineering Ltd. Co has been able to enhance its product standards and production capacity in a short period by climbing the steps of success fast. 

OPTIMA that started its journey with the lowest limit of capital as a local enterprise in its small workshop moved from ostim to its own factory in Kazan Keresteciler Industrial Zone in 2010. 

Exporting more than 90% of the 20 types of main products that it designs and produces within its own body to abroad markets, OPTIMA established its second factory in Saudi Arabia in order to provide services in a more efficient and faster manner to its customers in the Middle East region where it has a substantial market share since 2013.

Aiming to be a world brand, OPTIMA received an investment grant from the Regional Incentive Practices of the Ministry of Economy for investors in 2014 and purchased the 9000m2’ industrial zoned land plot at Baskent Organized Industrial Zone (BOIZ) and completed the construction of its factory in the summer months of 2015, where it still carries out its operations.

OPTIMA’s Main Area of Activity is “NACE: 28.99.90-Manufacture of the other Special Purpose Machinery that are not Classified elsewhere” and it produces mechanical, electromechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic, software controlled roadblockers, bollards, tire-killers, turnstiles, barriers, sliding and foldable doors and gate actuators for the Physical Security Sector.

OPTIMA controls each and every level of the production process with ‘Total Quality Management’ procedures Optima received.’ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System’. This approach maximizes the quality of all OPTIMA products. Besides, innovative, energy efficient products and solutions  increase the comfort and security of our customers. Consequently, OPTIMA exports more than %90 of all its total production to more than 50 countries, and that is for the moment!

Thanks to its vision, quality, machinery park, and talented R&D and P&D personnel, OPTIMA has created R&D and Innovation projects throughout the years and made use of the grants of various institutions such as Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK), Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization (KOSGEB), Central Anatolian Exporters’ Associations (OAİB), the Ministry of Economy, Ankara Development Agency, and Exporters Assembly of Turkey (TİM). OPTIMA has also acquired various test  certificates both domestically and abroad, with regard to the quality and innovativeness of its products.

OPTIMA has two Utility Model Certificates and two Patents registered from the Turkish Patent Office for some of the products that it has designed and produced. It also has applications for two Patents whose transactions are ongoing.

OPTIMA demonstrated the importance it attaches to R&D and Innovation, by being entitled to be the “65th Design Center of Turkey” on July 18, 2017.

OPTIMA ranked among the “Most Rapidly Growing 100 Firms of Turkey” determined by Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) thanks to its high speed growth rate between the years of 2012 and 2015, being listed as the 65th company of Turkey, and it received an award on January 25, 2017. 

In the same year, on 27 November 2017, Ankara Chamber of Commerce designated OPTIMA as the “3rd Most Rapidly Growing Company of Ankara” and OPTIMA also received an award.

Having conducted its first export service to Saudi Arabia in 2004, OPTIMA has been able to have its name imprinted among the banner-bearing companies of the sector by exporting its products and services to presently more than 50 countries with its objective of being "A World Brand." OPTIMA that attracts substantial attentions in the fairs and organizations that it has attended in the recent years became able to rank in the first three firms of the sector in view of its sales figures and customer portfolio on the markets where it provides services and  it also became a reliable Turkish brand particularly on the  Middle Eastern market. 

OPTIMA produces mechanical, electromechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic, software controlled roadblockers, bollards, road guide posts, traps, turnstiles, barriers, sliding and foldable doors, gate actuators for the Commercial Security Sector .

Performing R&D and Innovation Studies also in the Environmental Technologies sector, OPTIMA has conducted studies related to the design, establishment, and operation of the Medical Waste Sterilization Factory; as well as the design, production, and applications of the 4-Shaft Shredders; and also the establishment of the Packaging Waste Collection and Separation Factory. For the “4-shaft Shredder” the grant of which has been received from Scientific and TUBITAK and KOSGEB and which was completed successfully, OPTIMA possess a Utility Model Certificate. 

OPTIMA manufactures  tailor-made products of all sizes and properties in line with the requests of the customers, in addition to its mass production.
