Awards and Achievements

Thanks to its vision, high-quality machinery park, and talented R&D and production personnel, OPTIMA has created R&D and Innovation projects throughout the years and made use of the grants of various institutions such as Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TUBITAK), Small and Medium Enterprises Development Organization (KOSGEB), OAİB, the Ministry of Economy, and Ankara Development Agency. It completed all those projects successfully. OPTIMA has also acquired various documents and certificates both domestically and abroad, with regard to the quality and innovativeness of its products.

To control each and every level of the production process and maximize the quality of its products, OPTIMA has adopted the “Total Quality Management” principle and exhibited the value it attaches to the quality and production process by receiving the“ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System” Certificate.

Some of the anti-terror barrier products manufactured by OPTIMA for the regions of highest security level passed the “PAS68 Crash Tests” successfully at MIRA and-TRL UK (Transport Research Laboratory) both of which are internationally accredited laboratories. It also received the “P1” -degree Test certificate indicating zero penetration also from those laboratories. OPTIMA has eight PAS68 certificates. OPTIMA will keep on carrying out crash tests in the future at accredited laboratories in the USA and Europe.

As one of the first three maximum taxpayers in Kazan district, OPTIMA became entitled to receive a “Certificate of Acknowledgement” from Kazan District Governorate ( 4 March 2015).

Within the scope of the Ankara Development Agency - Financial Support Program for export-focused Development in Advanced Technologies (AKA İLTEK MDP), OPTIMA completed the nine-month project titled, “Continuation of the Export Revenue Increase of OPTIMA Performs Production in the Sector with Advanced Technology and that Presents its Products to Foreign Markets” successfully (2014-2015). This project of us was chosen as the first among the 192 projects in Ankara.

OPTIMA, one of the 100 SMEs chosen for the “İNOSUİT Project” of the Exporters” Assembly of Turkey (TİM) and Sabancı University, on the basis of University-Industry cooperation, completed the project in 11 months successfully as mentored by Çankaya University (10/2016–10/2017) and it was invited as a speaker at the Innovation Week held in December 2017 in Istanbul.

OPTIMA exhibited the importance it attaches to innovation and R&D when it was entitled to become “Turkey’s 65th Design Center” on 18 July 2017.

OPTIMA ranked among the “Most Rapidly Growing 100 Firms of Turkey” determined by Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB) thanks to its high-speed growth rate between the years of 2012 and 2015, is listed as the 65th company of Turkey, and it received an award on January 25, 2017

In the same year, on 27 November 2017, Ankara Chamber of Commerce designated OPTIMA as the “3rd Most Rapidly Growing Company of Ankara” and OPTIMA also received an award.

OPTIMA received the award of Ankara Chamber of Commerce in R&D/Design Centers Category, determined at the end of January 2019 according to the 2017 data.
