Intersec Saudi Arabia 2019 (14-16 April 2019)

JEDDAH - The 3rd edition of the trade for security, safety, and fire protection “Intersec Saudi Arabia 2019” was held on April 14-16, 2019, with more than 150 exhibitors from 20 countries covering 11,000sqm at the Jeddah Center for Forums & Events.

The Director of Civil Defense - Jeddah Governorate, Jeddah Governorate Colonel Dr. Abdulaziz Al Zahrani disclosed at a press conference with the attendance of Ossam Al Mejlid, deputy chairman of Al Harithy group, and Nathan Lloyd, chief operating officer, ME of Messe Frankfurt.


The General Director of Civil Defense-Jeddah Governorate said: “The Directorate of Civil Defense has been providing a number of solutions and innovations in the field of safety and fire protection, which has led to increased efficiency and effectiveness of services provided in the fire and rescue operations.”

He added “Intersec aims to be at the center of it all, presenting an important platform to network, create and strengthen partnerships, share information, and keep up to date with the latest innovations driving the regional and global security, safety, and fire protection industries.”

He noted that visitors were treated to the latest innovations and solutions across the two show sections of Commercial Security and Fire & Rescue.

Intersec Saudi Arabia 2019 covers the key product groups of Commercial Security, Information Security, Perimeter & Physical Security, Homeland Security& Policing, Fire & Rescue, and Safety & Health.

The event features two engaging and insightful forums which bring together all the key stakeholders from regulators, government authorities, solution providers and end-users to discuss strategies and collaborative approaches for security, safety and fire protection in the region.

Ossam Al Mejlid, deputy chairman of Al Harithy Group, pointed out that there is a huge demand for safety and security equipment or services in the Kingdom. Intersec in Saudi Arabia is the leading international meeting platform for the Security & Safety industry.

The event features a seminar which brings together all the key stakeholders from regulators, government authorities, solution providers and end-users to discuss strategies and collaborative approaches for security, safety and fire protection in the region.

The annual three-day event is organized by Messe Frankfurt Middle East, Al Harithy Company for Exhibitions (ACE) and supported by The General Directorate of Civil Defense, along with other international government partners, trade associations, and non-profit institutions aimed at advancing the global security, safety, and fire protection landscape.
